Our initial concept sprung from a passion for jewellery. There is a fundamental absence of reliable, unbiased expertise in jewellery consultation that harnesses sound gemmological expertise with design knowledge, exceptional contacts and passion.

After years spent working in the industry, building knowledge and making contacts, Tyrrell Blois’s founding partner Maria, naturally began helping her friends, family (and sometimes herself!) to buy diamonds and other gemstones for quality pieces of jewellery, at prices that they could afford. Allowing people to make an informed decision about what they were buying, sharing her expertise and seeing the sheer joy and amazement at the results became infectious.

Jewellery can be fun and frivolous at times, but also deeply important and sentimental on special occasions. Engagement rings, wedding bands, birthstones, lockets….these are keepsakes that commemorate the most important moments in a person's life and can be passed down for generations. We also understand that buying jewellery can often be a daunting task, particularly when buying jewellery for someone else.
